This is just a replly to Mr. Ryan's story about me threatening is sales manager. I 've been screwed over by a previous person like this shipper for the tune of$ 8000.00 over the sale and deliverey of a car from Oregon about 2yrs. ago. The state police and federal authorities were used in this case which was over a period of months and extreme stress and pressure to not only myself but also my son who was expecting this car as a 18th birthday gift. You reach a point where you can only swallow so much B.S. from this people because they are all so nice until they have your money or credit card numbers then you see what they are made of. It is not reassuring when you are hundreds of miles away and you have no idea of who you are dealing with or how they are treating your car or property.
Then I buy a car out of Florida from a great dealership in Tampa Bay where they have a document and numerous pictures and data signed by this hauler by the name of John Ulmer showing that there was no damage to the windshield before J. Ulmer got his hands on this car. So Ryan it looks to me that somewhere in between Florida and N.D. this car got damaged.I do not think that I should be responsible for the damage caused by a car hauler that was selected by this company. It is very obvious that the moving companies are responsible.
Just a little note to other customers do your home work on these people because I'am also waiting for a refund on my deposit from another company who said that they picked up my car on a certain date and we waited for almost 3 wks and many phone calls and emails before they returned our calls, with still no guarantee that they where ever going to ship the car.

Just to let everyone know what kind of person we are dealing with here, this customer threatened to come down from Canada and beat up my sales representative. I have know idea what most of his review is about.Most of it is about a previous transport that he had with another company. The following is what actually happened with our company:

We received his order on 11/30/2007. We scheduled it on the same day with a carrier. It was picked up in 3 days.(12/3/2007). When the car arrived the customer signed a delivery receipt without any indication of damage. After he cleaned the car he noticed a chip or crack in the windshield. We advised him that all claims must be placed with the carrier as stipulated in our contract. This is standard procedure with all brokers. The carrier we used was highly rated and had no complaints with any other brokers. The carrier denied the claim as there was no damage indicated on delivery. Also, there is a disclaimer on all carrier contracts that exclude damage caused by rock chips of windshields. The customer then wanted us to pay for the damage. When we told him that is not how it works, he started cursing at my rep and then threated him. The carrier did have full insurance which we have on file.
Anytime we do something wrong we do our best to rectify the situation. We have moved over 9000 cars in the past 3 years and have only 4 complaints with the Better Business Bureau. Unfortunately, we can't please everyone.
To give a bad review to us because of this transport is like blaming your travel agent if your luggage is lost or damaged.
