I needed to move my VW Touareg to New Jersery. I went online and completed one of those forms for quotes and probably got about 50 emails with various quotes and several from the same companies. I had never used a transport service before so I didn't know what to do or who to choose.

I found the cheapest rate and decided to research the company on the internet. Their BBB record wasn't so hot and then I found this site and started reading reviews. I checked the records of the most expensive carriers too and sure enough they had a good reputation but they were charging nearly double for it.

That is when I received the quote from 1st Chance. They weren't the cheapest, but their price was really good. I checked the reviews and there weren't many but the ones they had were good.

I completed an order form on their site after reading their site thoroughly. I received a followup email right away and a phone call within the hour. I spoke with Laurie and she let me know that I needed to complete, sign and fax the contract back to them so they could get started. She also told me that she had someone lined up to pickup the car the next day. I was surprised that everything was working so smoothly and progressing very quickly. The cost breakdown was a $200 deposit by CC and $400 cash or certified check to the driver for a total of $600.

It took me awhile to print and fax the contract because when I printed it from the email it kept cutting off part of it on the right margin. I finally just copied it and put it in Word to print it. I faxed it and then made a copy in Adobe pdf to email to them. Laurie called and hadn't received the fax yet so I emailed her the copy I made and everything was good.

She sent me the carrier information and he was set to pick up Wednesday. I was not going to be at the drop off location and was having another company receive it. When i called this other company to let them know they would drop it off possibly Saturday, they told me they would be closed till Tuesday for Columbus Day. I was worried because I had everything set with 1st Chance Transport. I contacted Laurie right away and she told me it wouldn't be a problem.

We ended up having to postpone the pickup date to Saturday so that the car would arrive on Tuesday when the company receiving the car would be open. Laurie took care of all of the scheduling and put me at ease. She professional handled the headache so I could just relax and take care of everything else I had to do with the move.

On Saturday the car was picked up. The driver was nice and professional. We paid him upfront for the transport because I was not going to be at the dropoff. Everything was very easy.

On Tuesday, the car was dropped off. I received notice from the company receiving it for me that everything was fine and they took pictures. The car looked as good as always.

1st Chance is an excellent choice for your transporting needs. They go the extra mile to take care of you and they professional handle issues that may arise before they become problems. I would certainly recommend them to anyone needing an honest and reliable auto transporter.
