This is the second time that I have used a transport company. Unlike my prior experience, 1st call auto haul kept in touch with me the entire time. I contacted them to transport my sedan from VA to TX. Also, unlike my first experience, I was only asked for a deposit of $137--which was charged to my credit card AFTER my car was actually picked up.

Thinking it would take at least two weeks to pick up my car (since that was the case last time), I was pleasantly surprised when Eric called me back in less than 24 hours with a carrier to transport my car. The truck was delayed, but both 1st call & the carrier called me to let me know. The car arrived 6 days later in the same condition it was picked up in (plus some dirt--but what car wouldn't be dirty after being driven through the TX panhandle).

When the carrier arrived, I paid the balance in cash. It was exactly what I had been quoted. None of this "oh, but gas prices were higher in Tennessee so give us $20 more" business. (This happens. Trust me.)

I was very pleased with the whole process. Most companies need at least a two weeks notice to pick up your car. From the time I first called to the time I received my car was less than two weeks! :) Note to other procrastinators: This is the company for you.

I would use this company again. Done and done.
