| Great experience with the carrier (Dayton Auto Transport, Inc.) |
I was a bit hesitant to use KAT because of mixed reviews, but decided to go with them in the end because it was the cheapest- 1,000 for two cars, whereas other companies charged more than that for just one car. I found that communication levels were a bit poor, especially on the telephone side, which I credited it to being really busy, but I wouldn't leave a voicemail because I knew that I wouldn't get a call back. One of the girls also told me she'd call me right back but she didn't. I found that the most effective way of communication was just to email Kevin direct, and he got back to me within a few hours.
Aside from that, the company they used (because KAT is a broker company), Dayton Auto Transport Inc., was fantastic. They (David and Juan) were on time, always kept me up to date where they were and what time they would pick up, deliver, and when they got to New York before we did, they were ok with waiting for us to get there. They were extremely professional, diligent, friendly, and made me feel at ease about giving them two of my cars. All in all it was a good experience during the latter half when KAT informed me who my trasporters would be.
