| Scam artists-BEWARE |
The people who operate this business are out to scam people.
I recently returned from a tour in the middle east, and wanted my motorcycle shipped from Missouri to Texas before I arived. I contacted Silva Auto transport on 22 June 2007 and was told the bike would be picked up within 7-10 days.
I returned to Texas on 30 June, and was then told "not yet", but any day now. I called and spoke with Corry on 11 Juy (18 days after contracting them), and was again told no luck in getting a pickup date.
3 days latter, I sent an email to Silva, terminating my contract with them, due to incompetence, and lack of trust. On the 14th of July, Silva Auto transport returned $415 of the $495 to my credit card.
They decided that posting a bid to pickup and deliver my bike on a buliten board was worth an $80 fee. I think not, and I am considering legal action against them.
I read 2 "5 star" reviews recently posted. I am asking the state of California to look into the prior complaints against Silva Auto Trasport, as well as the integrity of the individual posting on this site, which if false will be considered fraudulent advertiseing.
