I had to get my car immediately (as soon as possible) from New York to Denver because I was hired for a job and told I had to be there A.S.A.P. I flew to Denver, and had to handle the matter of getting my car there. I researched online thru review sites such as this, and settled on a top 5 car shipping places to call. Bullseye definetely gave me the best option--Carla (secretary/customer service rep) told me I would have my car in Denver 3-5 days after they picked it up at my house. I chose to pay the extra $250 expedited service to have it picked up in NY faster. It was promised 1-3 days, and was picked up exactly on the 3rd day, which was fine, I didn't mind. It was after it got picked up that things started going wrong. I called Vince (the driver of the truck) after 3 days and asked him how things were moving. He told me that he was still on the east coast, and was leaving that day for Denver, so possibly 3 more days, plus his extra 36 hours I guess the DMV or someone makes them take mandatory time off. I called him 2 days later, and was informed that one of his cars cancelled, and he was driving back to Brooklyn, NY to pick up an extra car, and he would leave the east coast the next day. This was becoming a huge problem, because I am 23 years old, and could not rent a car (the age is 25 to rent a car), and I was forced to take cabs or find rides with people I had just met at my job to get back and forth. After another couple of days, I called Vince again to see where my car was, because I was basically crippled without it. He told me that he was sorry, the car he picked up in Brooklyn was an in-op, and had to be dropped off first, before my car, which he said he couldn't help. That doesn't matter to me. I was told on the phone 3-5 days, and this was the primary reason I chose Bullseye and paid $1300 to have my car shipped by them, when I had other quotes for around $900 to ship my car within 7 days. By the time my car got to me, it had been 9 frustrating days after the pick-up date. I understand that some things are un-controllable in the shipment of a car (including a tire blow out that held the truck up for one night along the way). My issue is that I find it unacceptable that I was told 3-5 days from the pickup date, and it ended up being 9. I would have an extremely hard time ever shipping my car again, let alone from Bullseye. I was floored when I was told, 5 or 6 days in, that my car hadn't even left the east coast yet. Basically, my car got here un-hurt, and I was just thrilled to see my car after almost a week late.
