I had to move the 15-yeas old Toyota from Toronto to SF Bay area. Canada to USA moves are very expensive, so I crossed the border and parked the car on the paid parking lot in Buffalo where it had to be picked up by the driver. All was arranged in advance. After two weeks of waiting none of the drivers were ready to deliver the car, so I was advised to add $100 and 2 days later another $100 to the original contract price. That worked and the car was delivered in just 3 days. Overall I waited 21 days from the day I parked the car and paid about 20% more than initially agreed. However it might be just my bad luck. Bob Turner from AmeriFreight was responsive, explaining the situation clearly and honestly. I am not sure if would use their service again or not.
