After spending a considerable amount of time researching various companies to ship my son’s car from New Hampshire to California I choose AmeriFreight because of there A+ rating with the BBB and the high number of glowing reviews on Transport Reviews. Their broker and driver fees were competitive with the research I did. Being in sales I know how important it is to appropriately manage customer expectations. Jorge from AmeriFreight did just that. It was important to get my sons car from NH to CA for his big move to college. It had to arrive ahead of us to a friend’s house in CA. Based on Jorge’s advice we made the car available 3 weeks before our trip. At no time did Jorge every try to promise or guarantee when the car would ship or if it would fit our schedule. He just kept saying we will try to make it happen. When a few days passed from our first available date and no driver had picked up the car, I started to get nervous Jorge suggested that since we live so close to the MA border that if we were willing to drive the car to the Boston area 50 miles away it might move faster because that was a more popular route. I did that and the car was picked up the next day and we met the driver only 30 miles away from our house at a shopping center parking lot. The car arrived 8 days later at our friends house in CA in the same shape that it left and a week ahead of our arrival to CA. With all the variables in this industry and so many things that we cannot completely control Jorge did an outstanding job in managing my expectations, he did not over promise but he most certainly over delivered! AmeriFreight is the only company I will use to ship a car in the future.
