Bait and Switch Experience

Disappointing experience. Graham quoted a low rate and was very attentive until I placed the order. I was trying to coordinate a cross country move and needed to rent a car at both ends for a few days, so as it got closer, I was trying to get more details. It took several phone calls and emails to get a response. On the day my car was scheduled to be picked up, Graham told me that the transport company got the pick up city wrong and that they couldn't take my car. He took no responsibility for this error and wasn't apologetic. He did identify another shipper the next day but at a cost of an additional $100. He told me that I was initially quoted a "discount" rate and that the additional cost wasn't unreasonable. When I placed the order, he never told me is was a "discount" rate. As a result of this error, I had to rent cars for additional days at both ends which also resulted in higher rates. Overall, this resulted in me spending $200 more than expected. Graham then offered a $50 rebate for completing a review but suggested it needed to be a good one. I decided to provide an honest one instead.

It is always disappointing to see that a customer was less than totally satisfied with our services. We apologize to our customer if we did not communicate well enough explaining the different rate options. We are well known for being very explicit and clear on how the shipment process works as is evident form the great number of reviews we already had. We always try getting the absolute lowest possible rate for our customers. We do not entice customers to leave only positive reviews and a review is not required for a rebate. This customer will receive a rebate in spite of the negative response.
