I bought car on ebay and called United with their price quote to set up transport. The price given was $100.00 dollars higher then what was on ebay. The Logistics Marketing Associate Andrew Dowhan from United said due to gas prices they could not guarantee any price quote. I didn’t like it but from reading the reviews I thought they would do a good job and get my car to me quickly. So on March 3 after I agreed to the terms by email my order was activated. Around the second week they called and said a carrier had been assigned and the car would be picked up the next day. The guy I bought the car from contacted me and said the hauler had called and said he only had 14 feet left on the trailer and my 58 Cadillac was 18. I called United and they said that they were unaware of the problem and would set up another pick up. On March the 23rd my car finally arrived. On the positive side Barry Drake the Account Manager did stay in contact and gave me regular up dates. The driver called several times and let me know where he was and took good care of my car.
