Jag MD to TN - Good value; some issues

While the rate was very good, this was the third car shipment I had ever done (first with United Road) and did have a few issues I can detail for others:
First, after you decide on the trip, you pay up front, given only an ESTIMATED window of when pickup and deliveries would happen; no commitments. Window I was given for a 500 mile ~metro areas trip was 1-7 BUSINESS days for a pickup and 2-5 for delivery. Mind you it was repeated that "these are only estimates and not firm". I had to call on the pickup to get updates and it turns out they offer (broker?) these loads to drivers off a web site, therefore they are not company drivers in their control. The manager then escalated the offered pay for the trip and by business day 9 that afternoon the vehicle was picked up.
The transport used was just a flatbed truck that carried 3 cars and my car arrived filthy the very next morning right to my door. It was difficult at best to inspect given dirt and the early am lighting but that is somewhat understandable. No major visual damage was noticed but there were a couple of paint nicks out on a door and a couple of other rub marks. The nicks appeared to be from transit rocks and were fresh but are not covered.
The next day when I got in the car, I noticed 4 severe digs at the very bottom of the white interior vinyl door, like the metal side eyelets of a boot just scraped it up. I knew I did not do the damage and had a photo of the car prior to shipment (and confirmed with seller) so my only conclusion had to be the transport driver did that by accident. So I filed a claim with this company and after 2 weeks and no responses I then learned the claim had been rejected. After a dialog with the rep, they then did realize that one of the estimates submitted was very reasonable and given the issues I had, did give me a credit back for the repair work I had done based on the one acceptable estimate.
They were very applogetic that this trip should have gone more smoothly and wanted me to give them a second chance in the future. For the value and after receiving the credit, I may do that.
