I WILL NEVR USE PIONEER EXPRESS AGAIN. The dispatcher wanted me to contact the driver (who did not speak English well) and he made me drive to meet him accross town.

The contract I signed DID NOT say Cash on Delivery and when I went to pay for the delivery with my credit card the driver drove my car back on the truck while I was on the phone trying to call Pioneer Auto Express.

I told Pioneer that there was a misunderstanding and asked if I could Pay with a credit card because it was after 5pm and the Bank ATM can not give more than $400 a day.

PIONEER SAID WE WILL CHARGE YOU $50 EXTRA DOLLARS TO USE A CREDIT CARD AND KEEP YOUR CAR UNTIL YOU PAY.

I am in contact with the Carson City Attourney and will follow up. This was a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!

Mr. Berry’s broker contacted our company to determine if we could ship his Honda Accord from CA to VA. Since we had a truck available to ship his car within the requested time frame, we agreed with the broker to transport it but as a COD (Cash on Delivery). This means that the only 2 forms of payment we would accept are cash or cashier’s check, due at time of delivery. This was specified on the contract between us and the broker. Based on previous experience, receiving COD is the only way to assure that our company get paid for transporting a car across country without any problems. However, if the customer’s only option is to pay with credit card, we can accommodate but with a $50 flat processing fee. This is a company policy based on previous experience. The customer should have been informed of this. Not only Pioneer Auto Express, but many other car transport companies follow a similar COD policy. We apologize to Mr. Berry for any inconvenience.
