It was a first for me shipping a vehicle. So, I got quotes from several companies on line. After reading reviews on some at web sites I decided to use 1st Choice shipping, even though I have found a somewhat cheaper quote.
I was not disappointed with my choice. 1st choiceShipping was easily accessible thru phone and e mail. They (Brandi) were friendly, and more than willing to answer my questions.
They arranged for a trucking company from Lex, OK, called Jackson Industries, to do the job. The driver, Mr. Jack Rains is a very nice, friendly person with an almost brand new, clean transporter. He called me the day before he picks the vehicle, and on the day of pick up several times to let me know where he is and the approximate time (to the minute) he will be arriving. He inspected the vehicle with me, carefully loaded it, and informed me it will be arriving in a week. I told him I am in no hurry.
He did the same on the other end as well and delivered the vehicle on time.
All the discussion about expenses were done with 1st Choice and at no time did Jack raised a question about how much he is getting paid or negotiating for more money as I have read on some reviews about other companies.
I highly recommend 1st Choice Shipping and Jack Raines for such jobs.
