They advertised a pickup in 1-10 days at a very competitive rate. March 31, 2016 we signed up and $150 went onto our credit card immediately.
After 10 days with no pick up or call, we called. Nick Pride clarified that their contract said they had up to 15 days for pick up. (Not a good sign.)
After 15 days with no pick-up or call, we called again. Nick promised a pick up in two days. It never happened, nor did we receive any calls or messages from the company.
April 20th, we cancelled the contract. Owner, Wayne Webster said that a credit had "already" been issued. He well understood that his agent "dropped the ball".
The credit never appeared. Amanda in accounting kept me on hold 17 minutes to check on the supposed credit. I finally hung up, tired of waiting.
My next call was to Visa to file a dispute.
May 11, 2016 Visa reversed the charge and credited our account. Not surprisingly, Webster never responded to the dispute.
Please be informed that this is a broker and not a trucking line. We learned our lesson.
