These guys were contracted by Evergreen Auto Transport to ship my Mazda from California to New York State. They communicated their estimated arrival the day before and the morning of the shipment. Unfortunately they weren't familiar with the Interstate 580 truck ban in the SF Bay Area, but knew of the existence of the ban, and refused to pick up my vehicle. They called me to ask for directions that didn't involve I-580; when I told them they could probably take the first or second exit legally, they still refused and asked for alternate directions. I offered some suggestions but told them that a) I'm not a truck driver, b) I didn't have a map on my person to give exact directions, and c) finding the way was their problem, not mine, and that a map would be a worthwhile investment. At that point I was sure I'd have to leave the car with a friend to ship, because my flight out was just a couple days away.

Somewhat miraculously, after a call to Evergreen, I received a call back from the driver's son stating that they had investigated and determined they could make it in on I-580. They showed up on-time and loaded the vehicle. The paperwork showed a delivery one day before I would actually arrive in New York (not their fault), but they said they would try to accommodate me. They arrived just a few hours before I did and worked with the property manager to deliver the vehicle to my driveway!

The car arrived with engine oil down the hood and roof from whatever had been above in on the transporter. There was no damage, though, and I had given them a very filthy car to ship, so it was not a big deal.

Aside from the confusion before pickup, I have nothing bad to say about these guys. Considering how out-of-the-way my destination was, they shipped my car at a competitive rate. I would welcome the opportunity to use them again.

If we could get paid from Evergreen Transport would be nice too. Company out of business, you dear customer paid them but they never paid us.So i think it our job wasn't that bad since it's for free ;-(. Evergreen out of business and a scam company, if you need to transport a car contact good brokers or carriers direct. Thank you very much!!!
