This company transported several vehicles from Dallas to our location (180 miles). When the vehicles arrived at our lot it was dark outside (probably on purpose). We immediately noticed severe windshield damage to a pickup which was riding behind a 2003 Expedition. When the driver tried to unload the Expedition, it would not start. We assumed it was out of gas and put gas in it, to no avail. The driver had to back the vehicle off the top front of the transport truck and into the street. We had to get someone in to tow the vehicle in our lot. The next day, we discovered the reason the vehicle would not start was that the fuel impact switch had tripped. When the mechanic reset it, the vehicle immediately started. The mechanic advised the only thing that would cause that was a severe impact. Then the damage was found. The driver had driven under a low bridge and scraped the top of the Expedition and pushing the luggage rack through the windshield of the pickup riding behind it. Repair estimate is approximately $2,900.00. This company has refused to pay the claim even though we have photos of both vehicles at the sale in Dallas showing no damage. Our insurance company paid the claim and is going against them for the money. This company is SELF-INSURED!!!!! Stay away.
