I bought a 1956 Chevy 1 ton truck in Outlook Washington. I started looking at getting it shipped to Texas. I had been dealing with 5 other carriers. I put up money with one and they promised they would deliver by the date I needed it. From the time I put the request in with them until my delivery date was 10 working days. They could not deliver; they would not give me updates. Everyone I spoke with lied to me about getting "right back to me" when I would speak with someone. Then out of the blue Greg from U-First called me. At the time he called I was very frustrated and most likely was not very nice on the phone with him. But he listened and told me that the carrier I had chosen was known for this kind of service, but if I would give he and his company a chance that I would not be disappointed. He was right. I spoke with him on Wed the 12th and he called me back on Monday the 17th and told me he had a carrier lined up for thurs, and could deliver to Texas by Tue the 25th but it was going to be about $300 more than what the first carrier quoted me. I told Greg that would be fine and he sent me the terms and conditions, which by the way was two pages!!! Not ten like the other people I was dealing with. By Tue the driver for U-first called my brother who was my contact where the truck was going to be picked up and told him he would be at the pickup site on Thurs (6/20/2013) at 5:30 PM. My brother text me at 6 PM on Thurs the 20th and said the driver was here and they were loading my truck. I received a call from the driver at 10:30 PM Sunday night the 23rd and I returned the call at 4:30 AM Monday. The driver answered and told me that he would deliver that day at 11:00 AM. He did, and it was one day early. The truck was in good shape. Good job.
