Got ahold of Bill after the first company stopped talking to me upon receiving my payment information...thank goodness they never charged my card. Bill will tell you like it is, and he will do everything in his power to move your car and get it moved by someone not out to scam you (narrowly avoided the first driver after Bill identified him as untrustworthy). That being said, being told like it is can sometimes come with colorful language. Some folks don't appreciate that. I, on the other hand, think it shows honesty because those that talk like that tend to have been around the industry long enough that they don't take any bulls**t and pick up on it pretty quickly.

If you're easily offended or can't handle the "tough love" and aggressive nature that comes with successfully running a cut-throat business industry, then I wouldn't recommend Bill Avrich. But if you can and want your car moved by someone who won't scam you and will work hard to move it fast and at the best price available, Bill's your guy. He did get the driver negotiated down a couple hundred bucks on a trip that I will admit is a pretty tough/unique route of travel. Yes, my car wasn't moved as fast as I had envisioned, but again I realize the route from southern California to the eastern panhandle of West Virgina and 1 1/2 hours from the nearest interstate isn't a trip a lot of drivers want to volunteer for. Overall, $1750 (total; commission, insurance, etc. included) isn't a bad deal.

The driver was very good. The only thing I can hold against him was that I had to call him for a status update before he told me he was running a couple days behind. I would have expected to receive a call from him on that matter, but things come up and it's entirely possible he had unexpected circumstances.

Overall, I think this rates a four-star experience. Thank for the assist Bill; you helped me out of a bind.
