The pick up was ok. The weather was wet, but not raining or snowing. My car was not in perfect condition, and arrived in worse condition.

When my car arrived, part of the bumper was bent and pulled out. My turn light assemble was broken. When i contacted Superb Auto Transport, Rich contacted the driver, Don, and Don came up with excuses for there being damage. Don basically said that since it didn't look good when he picked it up, that he didn’t damage the bumper. Here's what he said (I added the TRUTH in parenthesis):

"First when I went to pick this vehicle up it was raining and snowing. (LIE, it was wet, but not raining or snowing...the town doesn't get snow) When it was inspected before loading I was told by the owner that it did not look like much and that the engine was most important and later he would make it look nice. This vehicle was in rough shape to say the least. At the time I was told by the owner that I had to open hood and disconect some wires under the hood that went to the fans or it would drain the batery (i lost power to my electric fans about an hour before he showed up, so i tossed some wires together so that the fans would work and my engine would not overheat). He disconected them after vehicle was loaded (LIE – he didn’t want me on the trailer, and complained about the wires because he would have to walk along the edge to disconnect them) .Later in the day after traveling about 2oo miles I noticed a bulb Hanging and figured it bounced out from the riugh roads. All of the wiring in this vehicle was Home done and most under sized (Some wiring is done by me, but I'm also ASE certified, and the wiring was NOT undersized).,
There where missing moldings,Dents, faded and chipped paint, primer, rust on entire vehicle (There is rust, but in 3 places, and not car cancer rust). The emergency brake did not work, it had a tiny little steering wheel, the seats where covered with shirts as seat covers (I put an old work shirt on the driver's seat so i wouldn't get grease on it...not that it has anything to do with them bending my bumper). There where boxes of parts and screws on the seat and floor (no boxes...one little baggy with my replacement door lock) .The doors did not lock (they locked just fine, but the key wouldn't unlock the driver's door)..There was nothing really noticable about bumper other then it had a hitch on it (so it wasn't bent to begin with), either at inspection of vehicle or when it was dropped off (LIE - the right rear part of the bumper was bent outward). His girlfriend came to accept the vehicle which was unloaded at a shopping center.
As I said to you in an earlier conversation and Dee Can varify, this customer called and asked how trip was going and if his vehicle was ok.I thought after talking to him about battery that there was going to be some problem,He kept repeating there was nothing wrong with vehicle when it was picked up. (Somehow the battery died. It works fine now that I charged it, and has worked fine ever since, even in weather in the teens).
This vehicle was loaded on the front top deck and remained there until the day before delivery when it was moved to the lower rear deck to make room for vehicles being picked up and this vehicle was the next one to be delivered. When I delivered the vehicle I checked everything as I usually do and nothing was any different then it was when picked up.
There is nothing on our trailor that could damage this vehicle and it was delivered in the same condition it was in as when it was picked up."

When i talked to them about getting it fixed, they wanted me to pay for an appraiser to come out and inspect the damage to see if they were at fault. Why should I have to pay for someone to come out there when they are the ones who have the insurance to cover these things? Rich said that since Don has been a good driver (though he dropped my car off taking up 4 parking spaces reserved for the Social Security Office), he was inclined to believe whatever Don told him.

When I told them I didn’t want to have to take time off of work, and lose money, and pay for an appraiser, they took a week, a full 7 days, to get back to me. I sent an email asking what was going on, and they said that they wanted pictures. I sent pictures, and another week, again, 7 days, went by. I sent another email asking about the next step, then got an email saying that they aren’t going to fix my car. They suggested that someone came by, hooked my bumper and drug it into those spaces. Seriously? Hooked my car, drug it across the parking lot, and left it there?

Needless to say, STAY AWAY.
