Last minute squeeze

Customer service: It's all good until you sign the commitment document. The good news: car picked up and delivered without incident. Bad news: I was almost squeezed for an extra $50 at the last minute however wound up paying only half of it. Rosie contacted me to say she had a driver for the pick up but that the driver wanted an extra $50. I was told by Amber when I first contracted for the service that "nothing would change" price-wise from the original quote. So why the last minute squeeze? I was told that it was "offered" to me to accommodate MY timeline. First of all Rosie didn't present it as an "option" and secondly, I had no timeline. At this point I was simply waiting patiently for 4 days for the delivery of my vehicle. In the interest of getting my car sooner than later, I suggested to Rosie that we split the $50 (instead of holding State 2 State accountable to stand by their original quote), in an effort to not delay the delivery any further. Rosie agreed. Last disappointment: Now with all of that out of the way, I was told the car would be picked up and delivered same day............it took two days. Good luck!!

We are happy to know that your vehicle was shipped in a timely manner and you were happy with the transport services. In regards to the price, we called the customer to advise that there was a driver willing to load the vehicle who is more expensive than the average driver, which was the price quoted to the customer, but advised this was an option to him and we split the extra $50 cost with the customer. We came out of pocket $25 to compensate for the extra cost of driver and the customer paid the other $25. We are sorry it was not understand on the driver option, but we did cover half the cost for the customer to help out with this to get the car moving. Pick up and delivery time frames are always estimated since the driver can be delayed at any point in transit and those time frames are out of control.
