I chose Specialty Mobile to transport my BMW 325i convertible from Pennsylvania to California based on the reviews on this website. I was a bit concerned when I called to ask some initial questions since the woman who answered the phone was not very responsive. But I proceeded anyway to place my order online and was called within an hour by the owner, Don. He is very personable and made me feel more at ease about the process.

My car was picked up on the exact date that I specified, which was less than a week from the time I placed the order. The carrier gave a delivery date of 15 days later, but Specialty Mobile said it would probably be delivered sooner. To my surprise, my car was delivered in 9 days! The driver called me the night before the delivery, and then again the next day to narrow the delivery time. My car was a bit dirty with maybe a few minor scratches from being transported cross country in an open carrier, but in fine condition.

I would highly recommend Specialty Mobile, and would definitely use them again. They are a family-run business which I consider to be a positive. Besides the first woman who I talked to (who I don't think is a family member), I had very positive contact with the owner and his daughter-in-law. The price to ship my car was commesurate with other quotes; the service was good; and my car was picked up on time and delivered sooner than I expected.
