The Specialty Mobile Systems people were great to work with and did what they said they would do.

As is always the case with me, I had some things to learn about shipping a vehicle.
Specialty Mobile Systems only hauls using enclosed trailers. After all the research I did to find the "best" carrier, I was disappointed that I could not actually use them as the carrier.

Specialty Mobile Systems assigned me to a secondary shipper who uses open trailers. I have to say I was not as confident in the secondary carrier because I did not know anything about them.

The secondary carrier performed just as expected. No disappointments at all. The Truck was picked up by a very courteous driver using tow truck to haul it away. My truck was taken to LA and loaded onto the trailer which got it to Virginia. No switching trailers or anything.
The truck arrived when approx when scheduled and there was no damage of any kind.

I guess if you are going to end-up using a carrier other than Specialty Mobile Systems, it is better to let Specialty Mobile Systems choose them for you, and make the arrangments.

If you want a company that will do what they say they will do, call Specialty Mobile Systems first.
