I had my van shipped from California to Maryland by Showroom Transport. I gave Showroom transport my credit card upfront, and they charged it prior to vehicle pick-up. The driver's name was Toby, definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed. Tried to tell my Sister-in-Law that there would be payment of $1000 needed on the other end. (Notice the company had already charged me)
I called the company and explained the situation to Phil. He said that I owed nothing and he would call Toby and straighten him out.
The van arrived all oily from a leaking vehicle above it. Toby still tried to tell my wife that we owed money.
If I had to do it over again, I would call another company, that does not charge prior to pick-up and has a smarter drivers.
