Good experience but underestimated quotes

3.5 stars, round up to 4. Shipping 2 cars from MI > PDX, OR. Picked ship a car direct due to reviews. Communication after placing order was great and there are no "hidden" fees or extra charges, so it's an honest and trustworthy company. They picked an amazing carrier (Vyrado Logistics LLC - these guys are amazing, should def use them if moving between pacific northwest and midwest. These guys deserve 5 stars especially driver Igor). I removed 0.5 stars because they charged my CC the broker fee when they had a carrier. The problem was no one contacted me prior to booking the carrier and I had no idea the price I would be paying (see below). When I called my sales person wasn't even at work, so I don't know who authorized the booking. The customer should be called and only after they accept should the broker fee be charged. Another 1 star: Initial quote was around $1250 per car to ship (not including broker fee). I don't know how they determine these but they do not seem to be based on actual market conditions, because at that time on Central Dispatch similar routes were bidding for $1600. Their quote should have been based on those values, instead of providing a low quote, and misleading your customer just to get their business (which I'm sure every broker does). I understand the broker business is a broker marketplace but the quote was way off and we ended up paying around $800 over quote for 2 cars.
