This was the second time I shipped my precious car. Thankfully, it went EXTREMELY WELL and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ship-A-Car Direct! -
The first time I shipped her was with a different company who promised a lower rate every single time I rebooked with them. The first shipping experience (with this other company) was poor. I could not always contact them regarding the whereabouts of my car (it arrived in one day, not the promised two, which proved difficult to get someone to accept delivery) and the car arrived damaged. Even with all that, my husband suggested I give them another shot, especially since they promised a lower rate. When I asked for a quote for a November north to south transport, they told me it would not only be MORE (far from less) but DOUBLE due to the fact that so many people ship their cars south in November. -
This set me on a quest to find a new company to ship my car. I looked at all the ratings online for shipping companies as well as with the Better Business Bureau. Ship A Car Direct listed #1 on all sites so I contacted them. Their quote came in very reasonable (and lower than my other company) and the contact person (Scott) was very friendly and accessible. Pickup of my car was on time, delivery was on time and she arrived without a scratch. Scott was in touch with me the entire way checking to make sure everything was going smoothly. I can't give Ship A Car Direct a higher rating! I'll be back to use them in the future!
