My initial contact was with Tom at Shipacardirect. He explained the shipping process very well, and referred me to the videos on their web site. He explained that his company acts as a broker and asks for estimates from the shipping company. He explained the time it would take for the car to be shipped from Philadelphia to Seattle, and that these dates were approximate. He kept in touch by phone and email on a regular basis. Thanks!

The car was picked up on the date and time that we were told. The driver who picked up the car mentioned that he was the local driver, and that the car would be moved to a larger truck later. He inspected the car closely and recorded all the scratches etc., and had a Go-Pro to video it as well. I don't think all the scratches he recorded were real, but did not argue about it. We had sofa cushions in the trunk, and a few small light items on the back seat. They charged $150 for the items on the back seat. I think this was excessive, but it was too late to ship them any other way.

I would recommend that you stay with the driver for the initial inspection and confirm all the scratches that he sees. If I were to look at all the notations he made, it would seem that I was shipping a wreck!

The car was shipped by Rapid Transport. My contact was Max. I had to call to get updates regarding when the car would arrive, and a couple of calls were not returned. However, the car arrived within the expected time frame. I had asked for a call about one hour before delivery so that we could be there in time. Instead, I got a call when they actually arrived at the address. Luckily we were just 10 minutes away.

The car was in excellent condition. There were no new dents or scratches, and nothing was missing.

Overall, we had a very good experience with both the broker and the shipper.
