Horrible Expereince! Read Closely!

I posted a review about my experience with Progressive Auto Relocation in February and they replied to my post with complete lies. I just read a review from one of their other customers and felt bad for him, I know how he feels. If you read the customers review Progressive blows him off and responds with “As you can see, the account of what happened in this review has been grossly misrepresented. Read our hundreds of other 5 star reviews” so they're basically saying who cares about you, because we have HUNDREDS of great reviews! They sure do have a lot of great reviews but how many are REAL??? I have spent over three months upset about this company and how I have been treated and its hard to move on when they have lied and said false statements about my situation and when they have never said SORRY or refunded the money I’m OWED!

If you read the story about the wreck it states that there were NO INJURIES but Progressive said that 2 people died! That was there FIRST lie! He also said I was harassing him, which is completely false he harassed me!I wrote my review and within three hours afterward (3:30 am). I started receiving MASSIVE amounts of emails and then phone calls from different brokers! He was angry that I posted a review and he knew that I hated getting all those calls from brokers so he decided to get revenge on ME, he used my email address and went online and started asking for quotes (I have Proof ) he then goes on about how I have asked for all this money for hotel costs, kennel costs, travel, lost wages and so on. Well that was a LIE because I don’t even have a job where I can claim loss wages, I don’t have any animals so why would I ask for kennel costs? The ONLY thing I asked for was my $200 brokers fee back (why should I have to pay for a car that was TOTALLED) and to help me contact the insurance company! THATS ALL I ASKED FOR!!! The owner Joe Harper has lied to everyone! Do you want to trust a guy who has been so obviously disrespectful to his customers with your car? Believe me its NOT WORTH IT! I have copied and pasted my first review and his response and check out his other unhappy customers comments and his responses and you will see what I’m talking about. As for the other 5 star reveiws I would like to see the proof that there actual custommers! He lied about me being a customer so I wouldent be able to post a review (I had to send in my bank statement to prove I was there customer) check out his better business reports and you will see that there have been MANY complaints against this comany. I hope that you make the sane choice and look around, dont just read the good reviews but read the reviews of the unhappy customers, and read how he responds. If I was a business owner I would NEVER treat mmy customers the way he has! He wont take ownership for his customers complaints, he just lies and makes us look like were the problem! Say your sorry and reinmburse your customers when your wrong! There is WAY to much competition for this company to treat there customers like that, I wish you all luck!

Subject: WAARNING! HUGE NIGHTMARE!
Review: I want to tell you the experience I have been having with Progressive Auto Relocation and there staff. Before I do that I would like to point out that they have quite a few positive comments but if you look closely then you will see that they get sometimes 3-4 a day which means that there extremely LUCKY or there posting there own reviews, that’s just my observation though. I had a review on here previously but they lied and said I wasn’t there customer so this site took down my comment so I had to submit my bank statement too verify they took $200 from my account before this site would put my review back up! That's just a little taste of how this company runs!

I decided to use this company to transport my sons vehicle from Oregon to Florida because I had read some great reviews and the broker (Greg Stevens) seemed honest and professional on the phone. I didn't know that this company just finds drivers and that's what they get paid to do. I was harassed from a dozen companies trying to earn my business so having a so called “Broker” is basically like throwing your money away!

Greg found someone to drive our car to Florida within a 7-10 day window and he told me that I would need to pay him $200 and that the driver would get $895hen he arrived with our car, but the car never came. I called Greg on the eighth day too verify everything was on track for the delivery and he told me to call the driver, so I called and found out that the driver got into a wreck and our car fell off of it and was completely totaled! I didn't receive one phone call from either Greg or Dennis (driver) telling me what happened. I assumed things were going well and that our car would be delivered in a couple of days but found out (after I called them) that our car was totaled. This accident happened 3days prior to my phone call and when I talked too Greg he acted like he didn't even know that there was a wreck and that it was the drivers fault for not contacting me. I was having a extremely hard time understanding the driver because he had a very thick accent so I really needed Greg to call and find out what was going on.

I kept calling and leaving messages, and emails, and even texts but they were all ignored. I finally got in touch with Joe who is the owner of the company and that was only because I blocked my number. I couldn’t believe how disrespectful this guy was too me. I explained that I have been leaving messages and not getting a response and he argued with me and said that “Its a holiday weekend and that I need to call back on Monday” he then had the nerve too tell me that Greg was a great guy and that I was lucky he even gave me his cell number! This was the OWNER of the company that said that.! I had too wait 3 days to find out what happened with our car! All Joe had to do was pick up the phone and call the driver himself but he just argued with me and said it wasn’t there issue because there just the brokers and they already did there job. I had to wait around and keep paying for rental fees while they were enjoying there weekend.

I've been stuck in Florida without a car for 47 days and I still don’t have the full story! I've been dealing with the driver by myself and he just kept telling me not too worry because his insurance will pay for everything, but I found out later after spending $900 in rental fees that his insurance WONT pay for the rental car. I lost $900 just on those fees, I could have spent that money on a new car! I just looked at my bank statement and saw that Progressive auto took $200 from my account the same day the wreck happened! I was told that it was a “brokers fee” and that I wouldn’t receive my money back. Then he let me know that the driver would be dropping off my totaled car and when I asked what I was going too do with the car his response was “ What is Dennis going to do with it stick it in his backyard!) I also was told that the driver wanted money for dropping off the items that I had packed in the backseat (The guy already scammed a $150 when he picked up my car” my friend paid it because he thought that he had to but I found out later that he wasn't supposed to do that) I called Greg when I heard that he charged him and Greg told me not to call the driver because he may not drop of my car, he then said that when the driver did deliver it then to call him and he will talk too him (that’s so shady)


I finally received a call from his insurance company and she let me know that the driver JUST told her about the accident! It had been over a month and I thought he was taking care of things, he wouldn’t give me the insurance companies information so I was relying on his word. I felt bad for him because his truck was totaled in the accident but when I found out he has been lying to me this whole time and I have been sitting around waiting to be reimbursed I don’t feel bad for him anymore. I called once again hoping that Progressive would help me out finding Dennis because he wasn’t calling the insurance lady back and she needed to know where my car was and without knowing that she couldn’t start processing my claim. I ended up having to talk to the owner again and he told me that Dennis had two insurance company’s and he started giving me the numbers, and when I found out that he knew this whole time I asked why he didn’t let me know this in the begging he got angry and started yelling at me saying “I don’t have too help you out” He then banged the phone on his desk (very loudly) then he hung up! This was the OWNER of the company, when I called back I told him he was unprofessional and he yelled at me and said “I’m the owner and I can do and say anything I want!” and then slammed the phone on me!

I have two kids and we have never been too Florida before and we don’t have family or friends here so this has been extremely stressful for us all and we don’t have the money to rent a car because this move already cost me thousands of dollars already, but this could have been a quick process if Progressive and the driver took care of things. This has been by far the worst experience I have ever had and I just want to warn other people that think this company will take care of you because the WONT! You don’t even need a broker (There salesmen ) make the calls yourself it will save you money and your sanity! This could happen too you, make the right choice because this is a complete NIGHTMARE!

Unfortunately, the carrier transporting this vehicle was involved in a 16 car pileup. The truck and all 9 other cars on the truck were totaled. An insurance claim is in the works and this customer will she be fully reimbursed. That being said, we have had to contact the police because of the level of harassment we have received from this woman. She submitted our information to countless quote websites and we have received hundreds of phone calls and emails generated from her. Luckily we were able to get her IP address and will be pressing charges against her. She demanded that we pay for rental car fees, food expenses, hotel expenses, kennel expenses for her dog and $6,000 in in missed employment. We didn't cause this accident, can we make the driver of the car that caused this wreck pay for our lost revenue? Hotel expenses? Airplane ticket costs? Meals? No we can't. 2 people died in this wreck, we're just happy it wasn't more.
