These guys are something else.

If they had been honest with me from the beginning, maybe it wouldn't have been so bad but...

First off I was told my car would be picked up on 10/15 to be delivered on 10/19 or 10/20. Now I understand that these dates aren't solid but they did not explain that to me. I was lead to believe that my car would be picked up no later than 10/16.

On 10/17 I called the lot where my car was located and was surprised to find it had not been picked up yet. Fine. I called Nationwide to see what the deal was... after being hung up on, TWICE, after waiting on hold for 10-15 minutes each time (they'll tell you they have a switchboard and that happens... sounds like you need to hire a new switchboard operator!), they told me that the driver's trailer had a malfunction and was waiting for repair... ok no big deal, it'd be picked up by Friday they say. I call the lot on Friday... nothing. Call them back, same deal, truck malfunction and it'll be picked up this weekend. So come Monday when it still had not been picked up, I found this site... Whoa, almost all bad reviews.

So, I start the process to cancel my order. Now they want to be helpful! Imagine that. So they tell me the name of the company (for the first time) that they scheduled to pick up my car... come to find out they didn't even _schedule_ it until 10/18!!! Can you believe that? So anyway, I say 'Cancel my order'. They go on and on about how any other company is going to be the same as them and I shouldn't expect anything different - what a bunch of idiots!

It gets better.

So I call the lot and tell them not to release my car to anyone until I give them the go-ahead, just in case. Guess what. Tuesday their rep shows up to get my car - they never canceled the order.

So they were still trying to stick it to me. The poor truck driver called to ask what the deal was and why they wouldn't let him have my car. I told them it was because the broker (Nationwide) that hired him was worthless and I had canceled my order. He was shocked and said that they hadn't told him the order was canceled. So he got screwed by these guys too.

I went with another company, Angels Moving Autos, and they were 100% better than these morons.

Angels charged me $225 up front and the rest to be paid to the driver... Nationwide charged $645 and said on the phone that was the total cost - but be careful in the contract it says 'Balance to be paid COD to driver'... so I'm left to wonder if the driver would have asked for more money when he got here? I'm glad I didn't have to find out.

Do NOT trust your valuable property to these idiots. They will waste your time, energy, and money. They know they are incompetent and they will try to tell you that every other company that does what they do is too... I know from experience that is untrue.

On top of all that, I talked to several people at Nationwide... every single one of them had poor phone manners and was rude, except Cole - you could tell he was the only salesman of the bunch. So on top of the headache of having to deal with idiots and being hung up on (sorry, "disconnected"), you get to be infuriated by rudeness. STAY AWAY!
