This was my first auto moving experience. I purchased an automobile over the internet and decided to have it transported instead of flying to get it and driving back. I searched for moving companies on the internet, made calls and got quotes over the phone as well as by email. If you have never had a vehicle moved I strongly suggest you visit movecars.com, this is an internet directory of automobile transporters and gives car transport and auto driveaway tips so you will have realistic expectations of your automobile transporter.
I chose to use moveontime.com. after talking with other brokers. Andy was very polite , courteous and professional. His price was very competitive and he did not lose patience with my phone calls and questions. The carrier was Joplin Express Transportation Inc. I did not contract for an enclosed carrier but, so to speak as the cards fell, I lucked out and my vehicle was picked up by enclosed carrier. Neither the broker or the carrier tried to increase the transportation cost. The carrier was extremely prompt, courteous and professional and extremely accessable by phone. The carrier (actual outfit) was carpeted and very clean. The Jeep was very well secured. Wonderful first time experience as I was a bit anxious from the start after reading some individuals horror stories!
