I chose Montway to transport our car from FL to upstate NY because of the good reviews.
It was a mistake. The car was delivered to us with the windshield busted and the pillar bent / dented.
The interaction with the company representatives was acceptable but the end result was that the transporter damaged my car en-route. Mighty 4 Transport was the name of the transporter.
Aside from the fact that the driver lied about his whereabouts (we had a tracker on the car) he was very aggressive to my wife when he delivered the car. So much so that she was about to call the cops.
Of course, we called his insurance company only to learn that he had an exclusion on his coverage and this type of damage was likely not going to be covered.
So now we have to spend our money on the deductible, fix the car, and hope that our insurance can go after him to recoup the money.
Montway, aside from sending us inquiries about how well they did, was largely absent. they provided information on the driver's insurance but I am not getting my hopes high that we'll get anything from them.
In closing, I wouldn't recommend Montway or any of their transporters. if this is how they select the companies they work with, I wish no part of that.
