The first car I had them transport they set everything up and sent me the confirmation. Then there was no communication with anyone to tell you exact day and time. That is the problem with this company. There is no communication after the transport is set up until there is a problem. And both times I shipped a car there was a problem. You have no idea when you will get your car. They give you a date with a window. But the first time the transporter was 7 hours late and when I called the dispatcher after 5 hours he said it would be another hour or two or maybe more. Montway gets involved again to help with the problem, but by that time I was upset and had a long drive ahead of me that night. First of all, Montway needs to keep in communication with the client even after arrangements have been made. Or they need to hire transport companies that will agree to contact the client the day before arrival and the day of an hour before arrival. Montway became involved again only after much frustration and disorganization. The second car I shipped the driver was again late and he didn’t even have the right address of where to pick it up. I had friends that had to go find the truck. Again, Montway was there to help but only after the situation was out of control. When the second car arrived Montway said they would call an hour before the arrival, but I heard nothing. There has to be a way for Montway to have the truckers commit to keeping them or the client informed on the schedule. Until this is done, I will never use the service again nor recommend it to anyone else.
