If you read only part of this review you should know these two facts: Every single time I called David Mazzalupo (owner / driver Assets & Technologies) he picked up the phone. Every. Single. Time. I never had to leave a message. And he strapped the car down by the frame, not the wheels.

I purchased a 2008 Atomic Orange Metallic Corvette Z06 on Saturday January 14, 2012 and had a tentative pick-up date of Thursday January 19, 2012. Unfortunately the car dealership lost a rather large cashier's check. I had to postpone the pick-up two weeks while that mess got sorted out. Dave Mazzalupo was GREAT accommodating this delay.

The missing check SNAFU was corrected January 27, 2012 and I let Dave know it was OK to pick up the Z06. We scheduled a pick-up date for six days later: Thursday February 2, 2012. Unfortunately Dave needed to make some unforeseen repairs to one of his trucks which set the schedule back four days. Ice storms also delayed pick-up by another day, but that is obviously beyond Dave's control.

Dave was able to pick the Z06 up Wednesday February 8, 2012 in Ellicott Cit, Maryland. It was delivered to my door 21.5 hours later near Dayton, Ohio.

Although Dave experienced a couple setbacks that delayed pick-up, I didn't lower the promptness score for 4 reasons:

1) If a truck needs an unexpected repair, it's better to lose a couple days and get it fixed rather than suffer a breakdown on the road - especially carrying my car.

2) Ice storms are "acts of God" and nobody in good conscience could hold that against a carrier. Would you want your carrier barreling down an icy highway with your car on board? Ummm no.

3) Due to the missing check SNAFU I postponed Dave 2 weeks which could have thrown his schedule off.

4) It's winter and I wouldn't be driving the car anyway. It'll just be sitting in my garage for the next few months. I was just anxious to receive it!

Dave seems to be very knowledgeable about Corvettes. Like I mentioned before he strapped it down by the frame - this helps prevent suspension damage from "topping out" if the car were tied down by the wheels.

Buying a (nice / expensive) car and having it shipped can be a nerve-wracking experience. The fact that Dave picked up the phone every single time I called was very much appreciated. Dave is very straight-forward, honest, and a no-nonsense type of guy. I really appreciate that. I felt like he was very knowledgeable about my vehicle and how to transport it safely. His level of customer service is rarely, if ever, matched.

I would recommend Assets & Technologies / Dave Mazzaluop to anyone who wants a true "petrol head" caring for their ride.

Thank You Eric Your patience made it easy for us to serve you. I still drive 1 of our 4 trucks. this keeps me abreast of my equipments condition first hand. My drivers are not independent owner operators. They drive my rigs. That way everyone plays by the same rules. We boast of having an 80% repeat business record. Every one of these customers will tell you . We are worth the wait. Kinda like fine wine.... Thanks again, David Mazzalupo
