I'll start with the positive points. First, I appreciated the customer service because they called when they needed and they were prompt on following up with me on the phone and over e-mail. Sue, my assigned customer service rep, was also friendly and helpful. Second, the car was transported in the expected amount of time. It was picked up on Friday near Hartford, CT and I was able to get it the following Friday in Los Angeles. It actually took them 5 days to get it across the country. The car was covered in dust, but it's nothing a quick car wash can fix. No dings or scratches. Nothing stolen. My only criticism is this: I know that guaranteed pick up days are not given out, but in my case, I felt as if I was given a certain amount of confidence that my car would be picked up on a specific date. So when the transporters called and said they were coming a day earlier than what I expected, I was thrown off. Fortunately, it worked out, but I would have liked it if both Magic Carpet and the transporters communicated better with each other. Overall, it was a good experience.

I'm very happy you were satisfied with my service to you throughout the transport. You're right, I wish we could get those guaranteed pick up dates too. Carriers arrange those dates, but sometimes their schedules change on a dime, but typically they are there quite close to if not on the scheduled pick up date. I'm always thrown off as well on that one as they don't contact us brokers, only our customers. It was my pleasure helping with your transport and please keep me in mind for any future moves.
