Don't be fooled by the rating, maybe those are paid by Magic Carpet.

Guy named Jon Posey told me the first time I talked to him that he will be coordinating everything and give me an update every now and then from the time my car will be pick-up up to the time I received it. None of those happened. First, he promised my car will get pick-up no later than two-days from the date he gave but it was picked-up four days later.I didn't hear anything from him afterwards, no e-mail reply, not a single call callback, no apologies. My brother who is working in NYC took 2-days OFF, just to wait for the driver to pickup my car but it not happened. Because of the promises of the driver that my car will get pick-up on the third day and a day after that, my brother had no choice but used the other two days as his vacation leave just to get this thing DONE. Magic Carpet should have compensate my brother for all the days he waited and took an OFF. Again, no coordination with Mr.Posey. I even had to traced the driver of the other company they contracted (Omega Auto Transport LLC from PA) to get an update because their office cannot give me an update either. I don't understand how this company get a five-star rating having this kind of people. Overall I am very upset and not satisfied and definitely will never use Magic Carpet Auto Transport anymore next time. I now even question the legitimacy of Transport Reviews.com for giving this company a 5-star rating.

As I stated to you over and over again we do not guarantee dates or prices. The drivers determine that. I never promise anything to anybody. That's not how this industry works. We setup times and dates. The drivers show up within a window of time. I never told you to have anyone take any time off. I said the driver WILL call you to setup a time. Not to take days off. Thanks for your business and I hope you decide to ship with us again. Thanks.
