We are a military family that had moved from the East coast to the West coast. We decided to go with Jay Hawk Auto shippers to transport our car, since the price was a lot lower than other companies and we live on a fixed buget. You def. get what you pay for. They quoted me at $1145 door to door service. Which was ideal since I had recently had major health issues needing to go to several doctor appointments for continous care, number one a way to get there. So happily I put a deposit of $250 up front, and they said it would take 5-10days to have my car picked up. I had also explained my health issues trying to convey a message of urgency that I really need my car so as possible. Nearly a month went by of me calling to see whats going on. It was always the same old thing, "Oh, we are working on it or We are calling carriers working on this." Then, the phone would ring on their end and someone would say, " oh this could be for your pickup ". and quickly hang up the phone. Finally, they call me saying they want $355 more dollars for my car to be "considered by a carrier". Do not rely on these people for any type of auto transportation. I'm waiting on my refund, of our deposit and hopefully we will get everything back.
