When I put my cellphone number and email into a search engine on Google, I should have been aware of what I was in for. It was like walking with mosquitos outside after spraying myself with sugar water. Shipping my car was a very unfamiliar process and I had no idea how the system really worked. 99% of the nearly 75 people calling were clearly trying to give me a price as fast as possible and then get off the line for the next call. Prices ranged from $725 to $1600, with no apparent difference in promised services.
Scott took the time to explain the entire process, understanding exactly what I was going through. He described the move in detail and set my expectations. I selected Intercede as one of the finalist because of price. I chose Intercede as my carrier because of the value added service. Scott clearly communicated where we were in the brokerage process and came in very close to his projection, despite complications with a Holiday weekend.
The Carrier selected did a reasonably good job. My only issue was delivery a day late and inflexibility in drop off time. This resulted in my daughter having to find someone she barely knew to be there to deliver the cash for the vehicle because she was at her first day of work. The vehicle was dropped off in a clearly marked no parking zone, resulting in a citation.
