Communication was not so great, but hey, I got my car

I got my car, and it was in fine shape. That's the most important part.

The communication, though, was not so great. Up until the day they picked my car up, I didn't know when they were going to do it. I knew that it was a Monday or Tuesday, and then I finally got a call that it was going to be on Monday at around 5. It ended up being around 7:30.

At our destination. my daughter was admitted to the hospital for several days, and I was worried that my car would be delivered while we were there, so I called to try to get status, and either nobody would pick up the phone, or we wouldn't get good answers. I was finally told that the car would get there on Tuesday morning. My mother-in-law got a cashier's check to pay for the transport so that they could accept the delivery, since I was still going to be at the hospital. However, the car didn't show that day. I called and called to see what was going on, waited all day Wednesday, and finally got a call back saying that the car would be there on Thursday around noon. I think it finally got there at 12:30.

I wish the communication were better. While I'm happy about the outcome, the fact of the matter is that I am paying a lot of money to trust a company with cargo that's worth even more, and if I want to know what's going on with it, I should be able to get timely, accurate responses.
