Worst Experience

This was the worst experience I have had in moving. The salesman, Arthur was so helpful to start after the credit was processed things went south.... Art as he called himself understood that I was relocating on a Monday (8:15am flight) so we scheduled the pickup on Friday. at 4:50 on Friday I received a call from the carrier they contracted, Roadrunner, advising that they had been working a on locating a truck all day that could pick up my freight, but had just been unsuccessful. They wanted to reschedule the pickup for Monday.... No way they could be there in time for me to make my flight and meet them... I contacted Arthur he advised that he would contact them, but they did not answer the phone when he called. Apparently by them it was afterhours. In a frantic not knowing what to do, I'm reviewing the possibility of modifying my flight and the financial implications of such. Then the driver of the truck calls (Praise God) and it was discovered that he had been given a wrong address. So not sure where the mixup was with Roadrunner.
From there, my freight gets lost... Once in LA, I was contacted by RoadRunner advising that my shipment had arrived and that I needed to schedule a time for delivery. they then called back to say they need to cancel the delivery... They only had the paperwork and no freight.
I immediately called Art. Again he could not get RoadRunner on the phone to discuss what was going on with my freight. I then decided that I would call the number I had from the previous Friday. I had no trouble getting through nor was the agent that I spoke with blind to what was going on. She said "we are looking for your freight. Your paperwork is in LA, but your freight is not." I called Art back to make him aware and to get a root cause on why.. afterall my expectations were set that the delivery would only take 5-7 days unless traffic, weather, and act of God.... none of these things occurred, my stiff was just lost. When I called Art the next day, there was still no update and I was basically told that his work load was extremely high and he had time to check on it. UNACCEPTABLE!!!
I waited 4 hours and called back and got the same answer from ART. OMG REALLY.... If you are too busy to assist me with a problem then you are too busy for my business.
Bottomline.. Art was no Help.. His Supervisor Lisa was no help.... She like Art did not return phone calls at the time specified. It is almost 7pm on Tuesday and I was to be called yesterday about the status of my Freight.
I had to personally call RoadRunner to follow-up on this.

RoadRunners service was poor but Freight Center was equally poor not delivering customer service and seemingly not caring.

I will never use either of them again.
