I called door to door to have my daughter's car delivered from Omaha to Florida she is a college student on a fixed budget. When I first called Eugene he was very helpful and even went out of his way to return my calls. Eugene stated that I could not pay with a credit card but sent me the websites with the ways i could make my $200.00 dollar deposit. I first tried to go through money gram on line made the payment, and never received a confirmation from money gram. I then gave money gram a call to find out about my e-mail confirmation which they had it on hold. The lady at money gram told me they had some concerns about me sending this money in Eugene name. The lady at money gram stated that door to door was not affiliated with this money gram and if they are a repitable company then I should not be sending this in Eugene name. The money should be sent in the company name. When i called Eugene back to give him this information he stated people send it this way all the time. Eugene then suggested that i send it through western union he gave me all of the bank information and the $200.00 was sent. I spoke with Eugene yesterday around 11:30am he stated that the driver was about about four hours behind and he would give me a call fours hours prior to the driver coming to pick up my car never heard from Eugene on that day. I called several companies this morning because i had a bad feeling about this company to see what kind of quotes they would give me. They asked me if i was working with door to door because they have a way of looking on the board and i told them yes. The companies stated that the quote door to door gave me that none of the drivers would ever pick up my car for that price t was much to low. Today 1-14-2010 called the company to find out what happened the phone got hung up on me several times or no one answered from my phone number, mind you never had any of these problems before i paid my money. My daughter and her friend call on a different number they finally got through Eugene then said the driver was having some problems with his truck i then took the phone from Eugene and adv: him that none of the other trucking companies i spoke with said anything good about the company and wanted to know about my refund because my car was not picked. Eugene stated he would send my money back western union like it was sent to him but that never happened. Come Monday I will call BBB and the news station in my area to get some kind of answers a company should not be able to keep getting away with this kind of madness taking people money.
