I have used services like this before moving my classic cars around the USA with great success. When I called Door to Door Transport, the owner, (Eugene Allen),gave me a quote of $900.00 for 2 cars. I sent him a $300.00 deposit, (like an idiot I wired the money), leaving a balance of $600.00 COD.When the tansporter showed up, he told me that Door to Door Transport had posted a $750.00 delivery fee instead of the $600.00 balance I thought it was. I had the driver take my cars because I sold my house and couldn't leave them in the garage any longer. The rep at Door to Door told me that he had to raise the transport cost in order to get it picked up, and that it was in my contract, (it wasn't on the actual contract, just hidden on the website). He said they were within their rights and that they had "forgotten to call me", (even though they called everyday to find out when I was going to wire my deposit). I called and wanted to speak to the owner, (Eugene Allen), and he has yet to take one of my calls or respond to messages. He says he is a Veteran of the Armed Forces, but I hate to think a VET would rip off fellow Americans. NEVER USE THESE GUYS!!!! TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. AND NEVER EVER WIRE MONEY!!! I should have known better when they wouldn't accept a credit card deposit.

The cars arrived fine and the actual owner/operator of the truck couldn't have bee more professional and took great care of my vehicles. He must have been good because he had NO affiliation with Door to Door. He just picked up the job off a Central Dispatch website.
