Auto transporter was in Florida and customer was in Montana. It would have been easier to coordinate services with a closer provider. There was difficulty with the ground transport- they did not communicate as they should have. First they didn't know a time for pick-up, then the driver was late so rescheduled, then they didn't even pick-up my vehicle as the dispatcher didn't want the driver to wait. I was not notified of this; only found out after calling the driver, who told me they were told by dispatch to keep going. I had arranged my schedule for the pick-up. My vehicle was not picked up until 2 days later and the transport co. had to coordinate with another driving company. Customer service with the auto transport co. was fairly good. The main complaint is I had been told items could be left in the trunk; after shipping my household goods I was told by my contact that items couldn't be in the trunk and so I had to mail those items. That was very irritating. The delay on pick-up was irritating as it disrupted my schedule. But the car did make it over undamaged so end result is ok.
