This was our first experience shipping a vehicle across country. We made the mistake of contacting UShip, a broker and they wasted a week of our time. Then we contacted another broker, Stateway Auto who also wasted a week or our time. After many phone calls, Stateway offered to Expedite our order. We were finally put in touch with Coastal Auto Transport. I spoke to Otis and he was very knowledgeable and explained the entire transport process to me. He gave me the driver's name and contact info.

I contacted Ron, the driver, and he was great! He contacted me through-out the pick-up process. Although he was delayed a bit picking up, (we were shipping during a very bad weather time) he kept me aware of his location and time-frame.

He picked up the truck at the agreed time and advised me of his route. He kept me informed during the transport process and when he was delivering vehicle to our son. He was very courteous, knowledgeable and informative during the process.

He delivered the truck to our son in the Marine Corp in NC just as he promised. I was very happy with the service from Coastal Auto Transport. In the future, I will contact them directly when shipping a vehicle and not waste my time or money with the brokers who were not honest or upfront about the shipping process. I recommend you do the same.
