I am the General Manager of an Automotive Dealership. I have transported thousands of vehicles over my 30 years in the business. I understand the transport business, and the trust & ongoing business relationships to do this at a Dealership level...... Having said that this was the first time that I have ever transported a personal vehicle. I moved my family from FL to CA, and needless to say I was more than stressed. I did A LOT of homework and spoke with 3 - 4 carriers and decided on Capitol Auto Transport. I can say that everything that I was told was exactly true. I used Dakota and after speaking with him I felt very good about what he said (I'll get back to that in a moment). I did at his suggestion called other companies, and I also used a "all in one service" (wish I hadn't).... pitches & high pressure, and constant follow up.
Dakota was "spot on" and very process oriented and detailed. Everything that he promised was delivered exactly as stated. I had great follow up form the owners also, Cat was very personable. This is a small company that delivers excellent results. They deserve to grow bigger, and have a superior 5 star rating in my mind> I never do ratings and because I was so impressed with these folks I hope that this review helps them & you (should you read this) to use Capitol Auto transport. A primary fact that you must know is that they (Dakota) place your vehicle with the transport company. They rate each carrier and keep there own data. This is important because the drivers that they select are the ones who handle your vehicle. Capitol is your best assurance that you have a great experience with this. It is a key factor. They gave me a competitive bid, (not the highest, or lowest) but please understand that you don't necessarily get the best carrier for the cheapest price. Capitol delivered a great carrier (MNS Auto transport) and a fair over all price. When the car was delivered they even waxed it. Friendly courteous, on time and NO DAMAGE. I could not have had a better experience. Call these guys..........don't stress. ** I also checked the BBB, Yelp, and this site Transport reviews. I am a believer & you will be also. Thanks, Capitol Auto Transport, the whole staff, and yes once again Dakota!!!!!!
