Needed to have a car transported from Pleasanton, CA to Los Angeles, CA. Got an email and a text message quoting $290. After calling them, they get all the info and call you back stating you need to esign docs. When you asked that the $290 is final and no additional fees will be charged upon delivery, they affirm with a 'yes'. Then the actual trucking company who's doing the delivery calls you to give an eta of delivery. When they deliver the vehicle, they ask for $290 cod payment. When I state to the driver the payment has been paid already, they said no payment was received from broker 'Big Bens Auto'. So now you are forced to pay the delivery driver the same $290 that was paid to Big Bens Auto. When you try to call them back when the trucker is there, they won't pick up the phone since they know you're calling 'caller id ?'. I'm glad I have all the documentation and the supposed edoc they sent me which was fraudulent reflected a different card number that was denied. Big Bens Auto is a scam! I'm disputing the transaction to Paypal, my credit card company and placed a complaint to Dept of Transportation. I cannot believe such a company is allowed to operate since I'm certain that I'm not the first victim.
