First contacted AAA AutoTransport USA around 12/18/10 and was advised that the shipping cost would be $1150 gave Ms. Peters a $300 deposit and then a wk later she called saying I needed to pay an addition $150 to a Turbo Trucking who would be transporting the vehicle as she didn't realize that the vehicle was in Vancouver Canada (she thought it was it Vancouver, WA when it was clearly marked on the paperwork I sent to her Vancouver Canada). Then she called me again shortly before 1/6/11 stating that I would have to pay an additional $450 to Turbo for transportation costs. After Turbo picked up the vehicle on 1/6/11 on 1/8/11 I received an invoice from Turbo for $959 which included a charge for a VIN tag which I had spoke to Turbo about (after I had spoken to Customs and OH BMV who advised that I didn't need a door VIN tag) after I spoke to both Jada (AAA) and Curt (Turbo) that the VIN tag wasn't needed I received a adjusted invoice for $632.00 which still included the VIN tag charge and after several more nasty emails from Jada the invoice was adjusted to $450.00. Also on the invoice from Turbo was a $32.00 storage charge which was never mentioned to me. I advised Turbo that if I do need a VIN tag that I can get it done for $35 way lower than the $150.00. On 1/12/11 I was advised by Jada that for some reason her merchant bank returned my deposits of $150 and $300 (one from my chkg account and one on credit card) and Ms. Peters started sending me threatening unprofessional emails advising that she was taking my car to their storage facility in OH and would charge me $45.00 day storage charge and that I never had the money when it fact I did have the money (in cash) and advised her of that fact. On 1/14/11 that he'd be delivering late Saturday and then 8:59 pm on Sat he phoned saying that it would be on Monday which he arrived around 1:20-1:40 pm. and car was in good shape. Ms. Peters ranted in an email that "if you don't have the funds you should have said so (I had the funds in cash) and that I didn't appreciate what she was doing for me (she was contracted to ship a car) and I didn't realize that we had gotten married along the way. So the driver was courteous, but Ms. Peters acted in an extremely unprofessional manner, screaming at me on the phone and when I would try to speak she would speak over me and send me unprofessional nasty emails saying that I'm having a nervous breakdown and she doesn't have time for my hysterics, etc. I have the emails and can show them to you if need be. I would advise anyone not to use AAA Auto Transport USA, 800-601-0723 ext 1 and Turbo for both do not advise upfront what the exact charges will be and costantly change the invoices they send to you.

This customer just bought a vehicle in another country and did not know she had to pay import fees, customs brokering fees and other fees associated with importing a vehicle from Canada to the US and when we tried to help her and explain this to her she tried to cancel her e-bay transaction. She could not cancel it and was obligated to pay for the car she bought online in Canada and then called us to help her. She was frustrated because of all the fees that she had no clue she had to pay and took it out on our company instead. All we did was try and assist her the entire time.
