I want public to BE AWARE about Auto Ship Transport in Miami with 305 area code. They claim be a direct carrier but they are just a broker. They contracted another small company to pick up my vehicles. And called me back with a estimated date of pick up. They never told me that another contracted carrier. The carrier called me on the 24th and said he would be there in the 25th. I finally called him on 26th and asked him when he was showing up. He claims that he got a flat and would come or call the next day. He did call the following day saying he would be there on the 27th late afternoon or the 28th in the morning. He shows up hours later. One of my four vehicles got damaged. When I called Auto Ship Transport. They claimed they were not liable because they contract out a carrier to transport my vehicles. So they wanted me to contract the driver/carrier. Well the driver refused to him me his insurance information. So I contacted Auto Shop Transport. They told me that the only infor the have is a number to thee carriers company. Which was the same number if the driver. After few attempts and I told them I had acquired about an attorney. They emailed me information, which tuned out to be an email address and same number of driver. Still no insurance info. Finally my lawyer had to search and obtain that information. And the driver also at last sent me the insurance information and opoligized but he said that he had lots the paperwork and had to call his agent to obtain it. BUT Auto ship transport never helped or wanted to take responsibility or provide me with any insurance information. Which by law they should give you that information upon request. PLEASE BE AWARE OF AUTO SHIP TRANSPORT - www.AutoDhipTransport.com.

Our Client Sandro was aware of us as a broker from our initial quote email with Capitalized letters and during our phone conversations prior to locating a carrier. Most importantly, Auto Ship Transport ALWAYS provide the driver's Info to every client PRIOR to signing the order form, so they can speak to the driver personally to assure their spot on a carrier, as well to track their vehicle and have a written cashier's check or money order to the carrier's company name upon delivery. Every driver MUST conduct two thorough inspections. A first inspection upon picking up the vehicle and PRIOR to signing the TRANSPORT INSURANCE. And a second inspection upon delivery PRIOR to signing the RELEASE of TRANSPORT INSURANCE and paying the driver. Any other claims after the driver leaves are not honored by the carrier's insurance company, and they assume that the damage happened after delivery. Unfortunately Sandro has written this review as a retaliation for not being reimbursed for a damage that we have nothing to do with, since we are not present on pickup or delivery location. We have provided Sandro with all the info and paperwork that we are able to collect, including a CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE and the MC License from the national board. We also have had three conference calls with Sandro, the carrier's company and the carrier's insurance company to resolve this issue. Unfortunately Sandro has lost the case after signing on both inspection sheets by claiming that his vehicles were shipped in the same condition that they were picked up.
