my boyfriend and i paid atlas to have his car shipped from erie, pa to twenty nine palms, ca where hes stationed. after receiving the quote of $950 total [$150 up front $800 to driver] we agreed that this was a decent price and went ahead with the contract. the car was to be picked up on 5-27-08, after several days had passed we called atlas only to learn that no driver had been found yet. another week passed and no driver had been found and that they were requesting more money for the delievery. my boyfriend then stated to the company that due to the circumstances they had breached the contract therefore making it null and void. he explained that unless they refunded him the $150 he would take them to court and sue them. its been several weeks and no word from atlas has been received. the $150 we deposited has not been returned and his car still sits in erie while we are out in california. worst idea ever to go through atlas. i hope that others read these reviews before making the same mistake we did.
