Considering that the scheduled pick up date was four days late, it would be very easy to rate the service as Average or Poor. But the reason I would use Angel's again is because the mistake they made in providing me a carrier that wasn't reliable was redeemed by their expediency in finding me a new and reliable carrier in less than one day's notice. Stephanie was more than helpful and although I had a couple of headaches due to the delay of the pick up, she was able to make the necessary steps in order to ensure that the car would be picked up before the deadline -- my car needed to be picked up before I would fly out. The original carrier was supposed to pick up my car on a Monday so that after I fly out to California the coming Saturday I would only need to wait a few days before my car would arrive. Well things didn't quite work out that way; I was informed on Monday that the carrier was delayed due to inclement weather and my car would be picked up on Wednesday. I was frustrated but I understood that this wasn't an exact science. But when I was told on Wednesday that the pick up was going to be delayed again until Thursday I was concerned because Saturday was right around the corner. The final straw was when the carrier called me again on Thursday and the driver told me that he would not arrive until Friday night. It became apparent to me that my car and the importance of it being picked up before I fly out was not important to the carrier. Had it not been for Stephanie's quick action at Angel's to set me up with a new carrier -- Pioneer Auto Express --on Thursday night, who in turn came true to their word by picking up my car Friday afternoon, this review would not be positive. While I fault Angel's for setting me up with an unreliable carrier, I certainly have to give them credit where it's due and Stephanie for getting the job done before my deadline, even though it was cutting it close. Ultimately it was the original carrier that made things difficult. And I am grateful for Stephanie and Angel's for redeeming themselves by being able to make amends by acting on such short notice -- I called on Thursday night with a request for pick up the next day. To make a long story short, my car arrived in California seven days after it was picked up. It was dirty but that was expected. It runs great and I thank Stephanie and the rest of the staff at Angel's for getting the job done. It wasn't pretty but my deadline would not have been met had they been as unreliable as the first carrier they provided me. But they made up for their mistake and that means a lot because I know that while the carrier deserves the majority of the blame for being unreliable, I would not have my car at this moment had Angel's been the same way. All companies make mistakes sometimes, but how they recover and handle them speaks volume as far as their reliability and customer service. Thanks to Stephanie and Angel's for getting the job done!
