Worth the modest increase in price

I just received my car from Angels last Wednesday. I had originally selected a low-cost company thinking that this was a fairly commoditized industry with little reason for price variance. This first company never did anything with my car and cut off all further contact when I started to investigate.

In a bind with a shrinking deadline, I contacted Angels. It was the best thing I could have done. I started speaking with Dina, who walked me through the entire process- how it should work and what to watch out for with more unscrupulous companies. She went through some of the contractual nuances that are easy to overlook with an untrained eye to make sure I understood everything clearly.

In addition to an industry overview, Dina also offered several solutions. I was less concerned about the amount of time the vehicle was in transit, and more concerned about leaving before pick-up. She explained that my destination was served less frequently than those in California. Shipping directly to Las Vegas meant a longer wait and higher price. She offered to have the car transported to Los Angeles first, before exchanging to a more regional carrier and continuing to Las Vegas. The cost for this scenario was slightly less expensive, but did add an extra day. This option was still much better in the long-run due to Angels' nearly-immediate pick-up.

Whether it was Dina herself, or Meghan or Linda, the angels knew where to contact me, when to provide meaningful updates, and how to manage my expectations.

If there was any downside, the car did arrive a day later than first projected, but it was not unreasonable and contact was made as early as possible. I also think this is common in the industry and not specific to Angels or any other company.

Angels were not the cheapest quote I received, but were comfortably within the mid-priced range. The service, commitment, and quality is definitely worth the marginal price increase. Save yourself any headaches and possible financial losses, and just go with Angels from the start.
