Just got asked to fill out a survey nearly three years after the service - only slightly longer than it took the carrier to deliver my car. I'll preface this by saying that the ease of scheduling and customer service provided by Angel's was quite good. The experience, however...

The driver (Roadrunner Auto Carriers), already running two days late, called me at 7pm on 1/13/09 to tell me he was in Las Vegas - four hours away - and would have the car delivered that same night. At midnight, he called to say he decided to call it a night in Vegas instead, and somehow couldn't get the car to me before 1pm the following day. As I had already returned my rental car (which I wouldn't have needed had the delivery been on time; and I wouldn't have returned it had Roadrunner not promised to be there that night), I had a sweet $85 cab ride to work the next morning. Throughout this entire process, both Angels' customer service and I had a nearly impossible time reaching anybody at Roadrunner (namely to find out where my car was), so why they're a vendor is a mystery to me. After all of this, no discount price, apology, etc. was given.

Customer service over the phone and online was excellent; price, vendor selection and delivery were awful. I have used AmeriFreight since (for my wife's car a few weeks later, and we have made another cross-country move since this one, so the timing of the survey request is kind of odd), for much cheaper, and none of their deliveries took longer than three days.
